The Rock Sports League is a children's sports league based in Forth Worth, TX.  We offer a more affordable league for your child to play in without compromising on quality.  Our objective is to give your child a firm foundation in sports, all the while helping them build a firm foundation in Jesus Christ.  

Our league verse is Matthew 7:24 "For whoever hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock."

Yes and No.  Whether this is your child's first season in team sports, or they have played in the past, there is always something more to learn.  We do not keep official records of scores during the games, but we do encourage fair play within the bounds of good sportsmanship.  We strive to give each child equal playing time, and equal time playing each position of the sport so they can find out where their talents lie.  Our hope is that your child will learn new skills in their current sport that will carry over to a love for learning and sports.

We play co-ed teams, grouped by age, not grade.  Once we have recieved all registrations, we will look at all the ages registered and create the teams accordingly.  We want to make sure your child is safe and plays with other children their same size, stature, and ability.  If you feel like your child should play more or less advanced than their current age, please contact the director to discuss.  Exceptions can be made.

Initially, you will receive emails reguarding your sign up confirmation, practice and game schedule, and coaches information.  Once teams have been formed and coaches assigned, your coach will contact you through email or the Church Center App to communicate with the whole team for the season.  If you have any concerns with using the church center App, please contact us for help.

The reason we are able to offer affordable sports is because we do not have paid coaches, referees, or staff.  While is it not a requirement, we highly encourage parents to step up and coach when they are able.  For the success of the team, it is so important that there are at least 2 coaches per team.  We have seen fathers and their children grow a new bond on the field because they took the leap of courage to coach a team.  You will NOT regret going on this adventure with your child!  Please consider helping!

At The Rock, we encourage our kids and parents to stick with it throughout the season, even if it is tough and you are tired.  In Hebrews 12:1-2, the Bible teaches us "Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfector of our faith.”  Perseverance is a Biblical Quality we want to instill in the next generation.

We also understand that sometimes plans change and you may not longer be able to continue playing.  In this case, we will not be able to refund your money due to the purchase of supplies and equipment prepared for your child.  Please let your coaches know if you will no longer be attending games or practices so they can plan rosters accordingly.
